![]() Sky blue is used for highlights on the minute hand, second hand, 12 points of the dial and lower face printed info “300M AUTOMATIC”. The white indices are all recessed into the dial. ![]() It has no back play, a great edge, and is fully lumed with a polished finish. The stainless screw down back is a standout with it’s well proportioned etched octopus logo and watch information circling the case back edge.Ī real plus, rarely found at this price point, is the ceramic, 120 click unidirectional bezel. Case construction is 316L with DLC (diamond like carbon) brushed finish with polished case shoulders. ![]() ![]() The relatively unobtrusive 6mm diameter screw down crown lacks a guard (which would upset the design, imo) but has a easy to grip, gear edge with a great brushed finish and the Phoibos octopus logo. It includes a perfectly proportioned signed, brushed DLC finished buckle. Inside lug width is 22mm, with a comfortable leather blue stitched seven hole strap, with one fixed and one loose strap loop, tapering to 20mm. It is 42mm in diameter, only 48mm lug to lug and measures 14.75mm thick, topped off with a double domed sapphire crystal with a/r inside and a 300M water resistance rating. This watch hits the sweet spot of size that the majority of dive watch wearers like. This one has sky blue accents on the watch face, hands and strap. There are five different models of the watch available. This Reef Master is a different design combining a sandwich dial, fantastic lume, outstanding quality and accuracy in a design that isn’t another homage. ![]() The Reef Master is my second Phoibos review, my previous review being their Wave Master. The watches satisfying almost every one of my dive watch hot buttons but without a major brand mark up price.
